The formation of Pakistan Hong Kong Trade & Investment Forum (PHKTIF) is a breath of fresh air for both the countries. The business representatives in both the countries mutually agreed to establish a cooperative body on a private initiative in order to bring the business communities of the two countries closer.The forum was established having members of Trade and Industrial community with a motive to provide level playing field for promoting the bi-lateral trade and investment, ensuring transfer of technology, exploring new trade opportunitiesIt was agreed mutually that this platform will not only resolve trade based issues amicably but would strategize on the macro-level to facilitate respective Governments to revive bi-lateral trade relationship as well, in the greater interest of both the countries.

As a Director of this Forum it would be my utmost priority to ensure win-win situation for all stakeholders by resolving long pending issues between Business community amicably, and help provide facilitation to the business community in Hong Kong And Pakistan in the greater interest of both the nations. The PHKTIF will serve as a body to enhance trade relations between two brotherly nations without succumbing to any unrelated political or cultural influence.

I greatly welcome feedback and support of all the stakeholders in order to run this Forum more effectively. I am very thankful to the Honourable Consul General of Pakistan, Hong Kong to give us his full support for the promotion of the Pakistani trade in Hong Kong. I also thank Think Tank of this forum for posing confidence in me to lead this Forum in its critical time I hope that members of this forum will play significant role in effectively reducing the issues and enhancing bi-lateral ties between Pakistan and Hong Kong in every aspect.
